Digital Matters, 2017
SPUR was invited to design and contribute to a research publication for the Autumn 2017 exhibition Digital Matters: The Earth Behind the Screen at Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) in Manchester.
As a collective interested in research, publishing and digital media we were excited to be part of this exciting new venture for CFCCA, marking their first small press, self-published research publication to accompany the first research based exhibition hosted at the gallery.
The publication includes a research essay by the exhibition’s curator Marianna Tsionki and an experimental text by SPUR Producer Abi. The publication was available in a limited run of 250 copies from the gallery reception during the run of the exhibition.
